Overview
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in the Nuclear Medicine specialty, based in Flint, MI. Start date is 07/20/2026 for a travel temporary assignment of 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,053 to $2,193. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with on-site imaging duties in a healthcare setting. This travel assignment involves working in a facility that delivers imaging services and nuclear medicine procedures, under general supervision. The position requires graduation from an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine and credentialing in nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities
- Specializes in performing diagnostic studies in nuclear medicine imaging to produce high-quality images in line with established policies.
- Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns to foster comfort and meet individual needs.
- Operate and maintain all assigned nuclear medicine imaging equipment; perform routine quality checks and ensure proper functioning.
- Prepare and/or administer radiopharmaceuticals within the technologist’s scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
- Perform quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self; comply with applicable regulatory standards.
- Maintain documentation, logs, charts, and records in paper and electronic formats; manage supply inventory and assist other areas of radiology as needed; perform related duties as directed.

Requirements
- ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine (required)
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Ability to perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and manage radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
- Eligible for credentialing and ongoing maintenance with ARRT or NMTCB
- Ability to work on-site in a travel assignment in Flint, MI
