Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and logistics, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to join their team. As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Inventory Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator
Location: Bohemia, NY
Pay Range: $22 - $24 per hour
Shift: Monday to Sunday (Flexible schedule, weekends included, OT available)
1st Shift - 8am to 4:30pm
2nd Shift - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Duration: 3 months
What's the Job?
- Research, track, and execute the release and shipping of products utilizing various proprietary computer systems including inventory management and shipping databases.
- Manage and verify the receipt of in-house manufactured goods and process requests based on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Track and receive materials from external vendors and clients, ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Utilize FIFO methodology to issue materials for distribution to internal departments.
- Maintain proper identification of products, ensure proper inventory levels, and assist in process improvements.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid NY State Driver's License, maintained in good standing throughout employment.
- Ability to do some light to moderate lifting of boxes and storage materials averaging 20-30 lbs.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for overtime including weekends.
