Hospital Cleaning Team Member (EVS) – Valparaiso, IN

Shift Details
Mon-Sun

1st shift
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

2nd Shift

4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Schedules include weekends and some holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this position, you’ll help keep critical hospital areas clean, safe, and ready for patients and staff. Daily work includes maintaining ER spaces and shared areas, cleaning patient rooms after discharge, and making sure supplies are fully stocked.

Tasks you’ll handle:

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and high-touch surfaces
• Maintaining restrooms and common areas throughout the facility
• Using equipment such as mops and autoscrubbers for floor care
• Restocking supplies in patient and staff areas
• Handling regulated waste safely, including biohazard materials
• Supporting a clean, positive healthcare environment for patients

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable with strong attention to detail
• Professional, clean appearance and respectful attitude
• Comfortable interacting in a hospital environment
• Able to communicate clearly in English
• Willing to wear required uniform (navy scrubs)
• Able to work scheduled holidays when they fall on your shift
• Must pass a background check
