Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:
Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac telemetry, MS/Tele, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring on the unit, use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, heparin protocols, total joint replacement, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, isolation precautions/PPE, phlebotomy.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Post-op experience preferred.
Special Requests: Must live more than 75 miles from facility.
Unit Details: Medical-surgical RN needed for a post-PACU holding area. Supported by a PCT during this time. Adult and geriatric patient population. Fully recovered post-operative patients awaiting disposition, either discharge or, more often, a bed upstairs; includes ortho, neuro, GYN, general, and observation patients. Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in).
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri, no weekends, no holidays, no call.
Floating Requirements: Float to med surg PRN.
Maximum consecutive days off: 10
