Front of the House Team Member

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring proper entry and timely delivery
• Review menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and opportunities
• Manage cashiering responsibilities including cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers with precision
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Support food preparation and bussing duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Engage with guests to foster positive relations, handle inquiries professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly

Experience

• Prior restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Demonstrated ability in guest services, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles enhances your suitability for this position
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate cash handling and billing
• Experience with food industry tools like OpenTable or similar reservation platforms is a plus
• Previous culinary or kitchen experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
