Job Description

This Landscape Sales role focuses on high-end residential maintenance and upsells, stepping away from cold-calling and design-build responsibilities. Reporting to the Lead Designer, the professional will manage inbound inquiries, estimate projects, and seamlessly hand off secured accounts to an account management team. The primary objective is to drive maintenance revenue and cultivate strong relationships with luxury clientele.

Based in Moultonborough, NH, this rapidly growing landscape organization serves high-net-worth clients in the scenic Lakes Region. The firm offers a highly social, laid-back, and energetic team culture that has expanded from 20 to 120 employees over the last three years. This is a stable, thriving environment for humble and hungry professionals looking for structured growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound inquiries and evaluate property conditions to propose maintenance packages and property enhancements, such as drainage improvements.
  • Develop detailed and highly accurate estimates without the need for cold-calling or original design work.
  • Present proposals to luxury residential clientele, specifically owners of second and third homes, with exceptional professionalism.
  • Transition sold accounts efficiently to dedicated Account Managers for ongoing oversight and execution.
  • Coordinate with internal operations and account managers to ensure seamless alignment with field staff.
  • Maintain organized records within industry-specific CRM and estimating software, maximizing efficiency with AI tools.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in horticulture, particularly in regional plant, tree, and shrub identification.
  • Strong understanding of Northeastern environmental factors, including shade, moisture, and pH levels.
  • Proficiency in industry software systems such as LMN or Aspire.
  • Highly outgoing, well-spoken, and professional demeanor tailored for a high-net-worth customer base.
  • Humble, hungry, and "people-ready" personality that thrives in a laid-back and highly social office culture.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites using shared office vehicles.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: Starting at $70,000 annually, negotiable for top-tier talent.
  • Bonus Potential: Up to 25% end-of-year incentive (15% based on company performance, 10% on personal goals) in lieu of a commission structure.
  • Winter Schedule: Reduced winter hours from January through March, working 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with half-days on Fridays.
  • Healthcare: Health, dental, and vision insurance options, plus group life insurance.
  • Retirement: 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Perks: Paid PTO, paid holidays, and access to a company vehicle for property visits.
