Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and personable Customer Care Advisor to support a Financial Advisor through direct client interaction, customer service, and foundational financial support responsibilities. This is a front-facing role focused on building relationships, assisting clients, and creating a positive customer experience.
The ideal candidate is professional, outgoing, organized, and comfortable communicating with clients by phone, Zoom, and in person. Responsibilities include helping clients schedule and prepare for appointments, answering questions, following up on service requests, providing updates, and assisting with basic financial education and planning support.
This role is ideal for someone interested in developing communication skills, gaining experience in the financial services industry, and working directly with clients in a relationship-oriented environment.
Position Type: Part-time or full-time (flexible depending on availability)
Compensation:$70,500 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize spreadsheets used to track client information, applications, and follow-ups
- Call insurance and financial service companies to obtain updates on client applications, policies, and processing status
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders to clients via phone, text, or email
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the advisor’s calendar
- Help track pending cases and update internal records accordingly
- Maintain accurate notes and documentation from company calls and client interactions
- Support client onboarding by gathering basic information and preparing documentation
- Sit in on client meetings and assist with follow-up items and implementation steps
- Learn and assist with basic financial concepts, products, and client solutions over time
- Support general administrative and operational tasks to keep the office organized and efficient
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking on the phone with clients and company representatives
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Professional and dependable
- Interest in learning about financial services, client advising, and long-term planning
- Coachable with a willingness to grow into greater responsibilities
