Make a Real Difference in Your Community

EBCAP Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dual Diagnosis Clinician to join our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team. This is a rare opportunity to practice at the forefront of integrated behavioral health care — where you'll have the clinical resources, interdisciplinary support, and mission alignment to truly serve individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

As part of a CCBHC, you'll benefit from a model designed to eliminate barriers to care — meaning your clients get more of what they need, and you spend your time doing meaningful clinical work rather than navigating gaps in the system.

What You'll Do
You'll carry a caseload of adults with co-occurring disorders, providing comprehensive clinical services across the full continuum of outpatient care:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop person-centered recovery plans in collaboration with clients and an interdisciplinary team
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
  • Apply ASAM Criteria for level-of-care determinations and collaborate with prescribers on MAT integration
  • Provide crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning
  • Document within an EMR using collaborative documentation practices
  • Engage in case consultations, team communication, and community coordination

What We're Looking For

What We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Independent licensure in Rhode Island (LICSW or LMHC required); dual LCDP licensure preferred
  • Experience with co-occurring disorders and outpatient psychotherapy
  • Familiarity with MAT, ASAM Criteria, and EMR-based documentation
  • Strong clinical judgment, time management, and team collaboration skills
  • 3 - 7 years of experience

Preferred: Experience in community mental health, FQHC, or CCBHC settings; training in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, or Trauma-Informed Care.

Job Benefits

For Full-Time Employees Working 30-40 hours per week, EBCAP offers:
  • Subsidized, comprehensive medical (BCBSRI) and dental (Delta Dental) insurance plans
  • Supplemental vision insurance (Delta Dental)
  • Voluntary medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts
  • Up to 3% matching 403(b) retirement plan
  • Employer-paid life insurance
  • Generous paid time off including vacation, holidays, personal days, and sick time
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Employer-paid professional development
  • Employee assistance program
