About the role
Abilities, LLC is hiring an experienced House Manager to lead our Southside ISL home in Warrensburg. You'll be the primary on-site leader, responsible for staff supervision, medical coordination, compliance, and the overall quality of care in the home.
This role calls for steady judgment, follow-through, and the kind of person who leads by example rather than by title. If you've built solid experience in DD services and you're ready to step into supervision or you're already a supervisor looking for an agency that backs its managers, we'd like to talk.
What you'll do
- Supervise Direct Support Professionals coach the team, address performance and attendance, and set the tone for professionalism in the home
- Coordinate medical care alongside our Nursing team medications, delegated nursing tasks, health changes, equipment, and safe mobility support
- Ensure Person-Centered Service Plans are implemented the way they're written, every shift
- Keep documentation accurate and current MARs, logs, incident reports, audit readiness
- Handle scheduling and coverage, and serve as on-call for the home on rotating weekends
- Model the standard integrity, discretion, calm under pressure, and follow-through
What we're looking for
- 2+ years supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- 1+ year in a supervisory role with real accountability for staff
- A track record of professional boundaries, ethical judgment, and discretion
- The ability to lead calmly and confidently in a medically complex environment
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass all required background checks and registries

Pay and time off
- $25.00/hour minimum higher starting wage available based on relevant experience, medical complexity experience, and supervisory background

A few things to know
This role is physical. You'll be on your feet, helping with transfers and equipment, going up and down stairs, and at times team-lifting loads over 100 lbs. You'll also spend time at a computer handling documentation, and you'll need to respond quickly in emergencies.
The home serves adults with a range of support needs, including medical complexity. We provide the training, the nursing partnership, and the administrative backing. What we need from you is the leadership.
