Catering Sales Manager

The Catering Sales Manager drives revenue by soliciting, booking, and planning corporate and social events. They oversee the entire client lifecycle, from proactive lead generation and contract negotiation to coordinating event details like menus and room setups. They act as the primary liaison between clients and the banquet or culinary teams to ensure exceptional service and event execution.

Monday to Friday with occasional weekends

$55,000 - $70,000 yearly

• Sales & Revenue: Generate leads, meet personal booking targets, and drive profit.
• Client Relations: Conduct site tours, answer inquiries, and build lasting client relationships.
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, menus, and terms to close contracts.
• Event Coordination: Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for all events.
• Operations: Collaborate with culinary and banquet teams to ensure flawless execution.
• Forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM records, manage budgets, and provide revenue reports.

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in hotel sales, catering, or event management.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or Business is preferred.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Organization: High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Software: Proficiency in catering and sales software.
• Flexibility: Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
