General Manager – Full Service Restaurant (El Centro, CA)

Compensation: $75,000 – $78,000 base salary + bonus potential

About the Role:

A well-established, family-style restaurant concept is seeking an experienced and service-driven General Manager to lead day-to-day operations. This individual will oversee both front and back-of-house teams, ensure financial accountability, and uphold brand standards for guest service, cleanliness, and food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and performance management
• Lead and coach front and back-of-house teams to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety compliance
• Control labor and food costs to meet or exceed financial goals
• Read and analyze P&L statements and identify areas for improvement
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and a hospitality-first approach
• Ensure a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained dining environment
• Uphold service standards and train team on proper procedures and best practices
• Create a positive, team-focused work culture that promotes accountability and growth

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of General Manager or senior management experience in a full-service or fast-casual environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in managing budgets, labor costs, and inventory
• Ability to read and interpret financial reports (P&L, forecasting, etc.)
• Commitment to guest satisfaction and team development
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
