District Manager – Burger King Operations
Location: Panama City Beach, Florida Market

Position Summary
CKJ Management, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Manager to oversee the operations of five Burger King restaurants in the Panama City Beach market. The District Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and people development across multiple restaurant locations.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong restaurant operations experience, a passion for developing teams, and the ability to execute company initiatives while maintaining Burger King brand standards. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for five Burger King restaurants.
- Ensure compliance with all Burger King operating standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct regular restaurant visits, audits, and performance reviews.
- Monitor and improve restaurant execution in key operational areas including speed of service, food quality, cleanliness, and guest experience.
- Ensure all locations consistently achieve operational and brand compliance goals.
Financial Performance
- Drive sales growth and profitability across the district.
- Analyze financial statements, P&Ls, labor reports, inventory reports, and key performance indicators.
- Develop action plans to improve sales, labor efficiency, food cost control, and overall profitability.
- Manage district budgets and ensure restaurants meet financial objectives.
- Hold General Managers accountable for achieving performance targets.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing General Managers and restaurant management teams.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and development planning.
- Identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Foster a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Support staffing efforts to ensure restaurants maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Guest Satisfaction
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently achieved.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
- Lead initiatives to improve guest satisfaction scores and overall restaurant experience.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, workplace safety, and loss prevention standards.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues in partnership with Human Resources.
- Support workers' compensation, safety training, and risk management initiatives.
Strategic Execution
- Execute company programs, promotions, and operational initiatives.
- Communicate organizational goals and expectations effectively to restaurant leadership teams.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve district and company objectives.
- Participate in new store openings, remodels, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of multi-unit restaurant management experience.
- Proven success managing multiple restaurant locations.
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel regularly between restaurant locations.
Preferred
- Quick-service restaurant (QSR) experience.
- Burger King experience preferred.
- Experience managing 4–10 restaurant locations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in restaurant environments for extended periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel frequently between locations.
