Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming pallets to identify damage, defects, and areas in need of repair.
- Use power tools to repair damaged pallets. Replace broken or missing components, reinforce weak areas, and make necessary adjustments to restore pallets to usable condition.
- Ensure that repaired pallets meet quality standards and comply with customer specifications.
- Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Turn in piecework sheets or other required paperwork daily to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Be responsible for all personal tools (hammers, crowbar, wedge gun, etc.) and Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, gloves, etc).
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment and handling materials to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
- Know and observe rules of conduct at all times.
- Complete additional duties that are specific to your plant, as directed by your supervisor (for example; saving reusable deck boards, spraying out heat treat stamps, etc).
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.

Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous experience in pallet repair, carpentry, woodworking, or a related field is preferred but not required. On-the-job training may be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy materials (up to 75 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
- Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
- Able to work in various weather conditions.
