Customer Service Representative (Float)

X-Ray Associates of New Mexico is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (Float) to support our imaging centers and Central Scheduling team throughout Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and is passionate about providing excellent patient care.

What You'll Do

• Schedule patients for imaging exams by phone and in person
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information
• Collect payments and review billing requirements
• Make appointment reminder and scheduling calls
• Process incoming referrals, faxes, and physician orders
• Coordinate exam scheduling and maintain accurate patient records
• Assist multiple imaging centers by covering shifts as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Medical office or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong computer and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Valid New Mexico driver's license with reliable transportation
• Ability to travel between Albuquerque and Santa Fe locations as needed
