Position Overview:

The Mainland Logistics Coordinator runs the day-to-day execution of Waiakea’s mainland 3PL network so the National Logistics Manager can focus on carrier and 3PL strategy, relationships, and cost-out. This role owns order-level execution across channels, network transport and inter-DC rail transfers, routing-guide and EDI compliance, and the reduction of chargebacks and expedited freight.


Schedule:

The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time position. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm PST, with occasional weekends as needed; days and times may vary to support mainland time zones.

Essential Job Functions:

Mainland Network Execution:

• Run daily execution across the mainland 3PL network (SaddleCreek, G3, RJW) to meet OTIF and OTD targets

• Coordinate moves, appointments, and exceptions with 3PLs and carriers

• Identify and prevent service misses before they impact customers

Order & Channel Management:

• Oversee order processing and entry and support the channel coordinators across retail/FTL, DSD/LTL, and e-commerce/customs

• Ensure routing-guide compliance and accurate, on-time order execution by channel

• Coordinate Amazon, retail, and club order flows

Network Transport & Rail:

• Coordinate network transport, inter-DC rail, and DC-to-DC moves

• Support mode and routing selection for the best balance of cost and service

• Maintain track-and-trace visibility across shipments

Retail Compliance & EDI:

• Support EDI order, ASN (856), and invoice (810) accuracy with the systems team

• Drive OTIF and routing-guide scores and reduce deductions and chargebacks

• Partner on root-cause resolution for compliance issues by channel

Cost & Performance:

• Track network transport cost, expedited freight as a percent of spend, and misses prevented

• Provide the day-to-day relief that frees the National Logistics Manager for strategy and cost-out

Collaboration:

• Partner with Planning on inter-DC transfers and allocation

• Partner with Procurement and Hawaii Operations on inbound flows and handoffs

Requirements:

• 3+ years of logistics, transportation, or 3PL coordination experience required

• Experience with retail routing guides, OTIF, and EDI/retail compliance preferred

• NetSuite or similar ERP experience (sales orders, transfer orders, order management) required

• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage many shipments and stakeholders at once

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred; basic knowledge of MS Excel required

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-through


Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/ GED required. Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.

Pay Range:

Starting compensation will be based on logistics experience, retail/customer compliance background, 3PL coordination experience, and the ability to support mainland freight execution remotely.

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
