Finance Manager – Solutions Travel

Location: Miami, Florida (Hybrid)

Reports To: VP of Finance North America

Position Summary

Solutions Travel is seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead all financial

operations, accounting functions, treasury management, payroll oversight, and travel industry financial reconciliations for our growing corporate travel management business.

This role is responsible for maintaining financial integrity, supporting executive decision making, optimizing cash flow, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a high performing finance team. The ideal candidate possesses strong travel industry experience,

exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record managing complex financial

operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

Lead and manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts, and executive

summaries.

Develop annual budgets and ongoing financial forecasts.

Partner with leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and business insights.

Present financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Manage company liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and working capital.

Oversee ACH, wire transfers, banking relationships, and cash controls.

Implement and maintain strong financial controls and approval procedures.

Monitor and optimize accounts receivable, collections, and cash conversion cycles.

Accounting & Compliance

Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.

Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation activities.

Ensure compliance with US GAAP and applicable financial regulations.

Review financial terms within client and vendor agreements.

Payroll & Employee Financial Administration

Supervise payroll processing and payroll-related reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

Coordinate benefits-related financial reporting and reconciliations.

Travel Industry Financial Operations

Oversee ARC reconciliations and settlement processes.

Manage airline debit memos (ADMs), disputes, and resolution efforts.

Reconcile hotel commissions and supplier payments.

Monitor travel-specific financial transactions and back-office accounting systems.

Ensure accurate reconciliation of travel supplier, client, and commission accounts.

Revenue & Profitability Management

Monitor client profitability and account-level financial performance.

Analyze revenue streams, margins, and operational efficiency.

Support revenue-share calculations, commission reporting, and partner settlements.

Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reporting.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members.

Establish performance expectations and accountability measures.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational

excellence.

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

CPA, ACA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.

Experience

Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.

Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role.

Experience within the travel, hospitality, airline, corporate travel management, or

related industry strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience managing month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and

financial reporting.

Proven experience managing cash flow and treasury functions.

Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience with accounting and ERP systems.

Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls.

Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools preferred.

Experience with travel industry systems, ARC processes, airline commissions, or

hotel commission management highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

Education
