Bedmaker

Job Overview: The Bedmaker is responsible for stripping guest rooms of dirty linens and towels. The primary role of the bedmaker is to make beds with clean linens that adhere to the sanitation and health procedures of the company.

Essential Job Duties:

• Remove all dirty linens and towels from the guest room and bathroom.
• Check mattress and mattress pad for stains and spots, contact supervisor if the mattress needs to be replaced.
• Place clean linens on the bed, ensuring there are no stains or spots on the linens.
• Follow company standards on making the bed, tucking the corners, and pillow placement.
• Assist room attendants and housemen with duties, as needed.
   

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bed, and twist.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Work and communicate effectively and efficiently.
