Claims Processor

We are searching for a Claims Processor to oversee the processing and support of various forms of correspondence between insurance policy holders, providers, and claimants. This position is onsite, contract-to-hire, and pays $17 per hour. 

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup of new workers’ compensation claims
• Request information from providers, injured employees, and insureds via phone, email, fax, and mail
• Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls to obtain pertinent medical and claim information
• Create and distribute claim forms and correspondence
• Process work assignments timely while adhering to Service Level Agreement parameters established by company policies and procedures
• Perform mathematical calculations to process appropriate payments to claimants, providers, and third-party vendors

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Computer proficient with experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
