Job Title: Agricultural Drone Division Manager-FAA Licensed

About The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Drone Division Manager to lead and grow its agricultural drone business. This is an exciting ground floor opportunity for a leader who understands agricultural equipment, drone operations, dealer support, field demonstrations, inventory management, and business-unit growth.


This person will oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of the drone division, working closely with internal teams, drone manufacturers, dealers, customers, and logistics partners. The right candidate will be comfortable operating in both the field and the office, helping drive revenue, support customers, manage compliance, and ensure the drone division runs efficiently and profitably.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the drone division, including operations, growth strategy, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for drone service offerings, dealer support, market expansion, and revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, state agricultural requirements, and application guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with drone manufacturers and vendor partners.
  • Negotiate pricing with manufacturers to maximize ROI and protect margins.
  • Develop marketing programs and support tools for drone dealers.
  • Manage drone parts, components, open orders, and inventory needs.
  • Ensure pricing is current for drones, parts, and components.
  • Coordinate with brokers and shipping partners on containers and international shipments.
  • Schedule and attend trade shows, and customer-facing events. Demonstrate drone abilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, operations, sales, dealers, and customers.
  • Help position the drone division as a strong solution for agricultural productivity and modern field operations.


What We’re Looking For

  • Agricultural experience is required.
  • Knowledge of drone operations is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of FAA regulations and drone compliance is required
  • Familiarity with agricultural spraying, field applications, mapping, remote sensing, or agriculture data analysis is highly valuable.
  • Experience managing teams, field operations, demonstrations, dealer relationships, or product-line operations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts, including vendors, dealers, inventory, pricing, shipping, scheduling, and customer needs.
  • Comfortable working with both technical products and business-growth responsibilities.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
