Job Description:
The QA Supervisor responsibilities include overseeing quality assurance and food safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and company standards. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, conducts audits and inspections, reviews production and quality records, assists with certification and regulatory compliance programs, and leads corrective action activities. The QA Supervisor also supports employee training, scheduling, performance management, and departmental objectives while promoting a culture focused on food safety, personal safety, quality, and integrity. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Pay Range: $75K – $90k per year

Shift: Inquire about shift availability

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Support and enforce quality assurance and food safety programs.
-Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
-Maintain regulatory and certification requirements, including SQF standards.
-Review production records and evaluate quality performance.
-Support environmental monitoring, sanitation verification, and prerequisite programs.
-Investigate issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
-Assist with employee training, scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
-Serve as backup to the QA Manager as needed.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing, food production, or a related environment.
-Prior Quality Assurance experience required.
-Knowledge of GMPs and food safety programs.
-Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
-Experience with data analysis and trending.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
-Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
-Ability to work weekends as needed.
-Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
-HACCP and PCQI certifications preferred.
