Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy IV Technician. The role involves sterile compounding, medication distribution, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations under pharmacist supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding (USP 797 & 800 compliant)
• Prepare IV medications using aseptic technique
• Handle hazardous drugs using CSTD devices
• Maintain cleanroom standards and documentation (temperature, pressure logs)
• Manage inventory, medication storage, and restocking
• Perform drug calculations, dilutions, and reconstitution
• Assist in QA inspections and regulatory compliance (CMS, DEA, Board of Pharmacy)
• Enter data for pharmacist verification
• Maintain medication safety and report errors
• Support pharmacy operations and workflow prioritization
