Job Position: Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Location: Chicago, IL 60601 - Offers ability to work from home for IL based individuals

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

Shift: M-F, 8am - 5pm CST (set schedule, with 40 hours each week)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responds to telephone calls, written inquiries, within required timeframes.

  • Assists customers in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Ensures timely completion of priority referrals.

  • Documents customer inquiry and resolution in appropriate computer systems.

  • Forwards case-specific inquiries and issues to appropriate staff or unit, when necessary.

  • Generate and forward forms and documents to customers, when necessary.

  • Accurately completes necessary documentation and data entry activities in all systems.

  • Maintains quality and compliance standards as stipulated by contractual obligation.

  • Regularly communicates and updates supervisor/Sr. Administrators on case status and production

  • issues.

  • Maintains strict adherence to Child Support policies and procedures.

  • Maintains confidentiality and security of case information.

  • Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria.

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

  • Must be available and engaged online during working hours.

Skills/Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience working in a call center or similar customer service experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of computers.

  • Written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).

  • Education required: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification. 

Work Environment Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift at least 30lbs

  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (85% of the time)

  • Private Secured Internet Connection. No hot spots 

  • Connecting company equipment directly into routers for access may be required. 

  • All Job duties and responsibilities are required to be performed at desk work station.

  • Must confirm work environment is safe and secure for work in handling private

  • and sensitive information.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment

  • Constantly works indoors in a secluded safe space

  • Must have High-speed internet access 25 MBPS minimum; 50 MBPS minimum preferred
