About the Role:
We're looking for someone to captain one of our 6-passenger airboats, showing folks around the backwaters of Everglades City while sharing stories about the area, local history, wildlife, and what it's like growing up out here.
We're a small, family-owned business, so everybody pitches in. While your main role would be to captain a airboat, on slower days you might be stocking drinks, fixing little things around the property, tidying up, helping guests, or whatever else needs doing.

Responsibilities:
- Operate airboats safely and efficiently while navigating the unique ecosystems of the Everglades.
- Provide engaging commentary and information to guests about local wildlife and the environment.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during tours.
- Maintain and inspect airboat equipment for optimal performance.
- Assist in marketing efforts by promoting tours and engaging with potential customers.
- Respond to guest inquiries and manage any issues that arise during tours.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid captain's license.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Understands that in a family business, no job is beneath you.
