Personal Care Assistant PCA

Schedule: Monday- Friday 10-2pm

Duties:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Support medication administration following proper protocols and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
• Provide specialized care for individuals.
• Managing patients with disabilities or developmental challenges.
• Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding when needed, and maintain cleanliness by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning to ensure a safe environment.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly on MYEVV.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred.
• Patient observation techniques, and caregiving best practices.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care.
