Job Summary: Join our compassionate healthcare team as a PCA (Personal Care Assistant), CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), or HHA (Home Health Aide), where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and medical care. Schedule: Monday- Friday 10-2pm
Duties:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Provide specialized care for individuals.
- Managing patients with disabilities or developmental challenges.
- Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding when needed, and maintain cleanliness by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning to ensure a safe environment.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly on MYEVV.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred.
- Patient observation techniques, and caregiving best practices.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care.
