Job Description:

Busy orthopedic practice looking for a medical assistant to join our practice. The ideal candidate should have prior orthopedic experience, able to work in a fast paced environment, be professional and friendly. Job duties include support for clinical and administrative duties to help maintain a smooth opeorational flow while supporting patient care in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• 2-3-years of experience as a Medical Assistant;
• Medical Assistant Certification;
• Proficient in English, Spanish a plus.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification;
• EMR experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Back Office duties include, but are not limited to:

• Check in and check out patients
• Rooming Patients, taking a history
• Data entry for EMR system
• Chart Prep/Support to Authorizations Coordinator
• Schedule appointments
• Blood Draw
• Dispense DME/supports
• Prescription Refills
• Phones

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
• Med Legal experience a plus

Tower Orthopedics operates near Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, with a busy, high-volume patient environment. The atmosphere is productive but demanding with a focus on patient care and clinic efficiency.
