Compensation: $22.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Thursday | 6:30am–5:00pm

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Mechanical Repair Technicians for a rail manufacturing/repair company in Grand Forks, ND. In this role, you’ll help maintain and restore railcars while working hands-on with mechanical systems in a structured, team-oriented environment. • Maintain repair and maintenance records
• Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts
• Inspect railcars to determine overall condition
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning
• Measure distances and dimensions accurately
• Seal gaps or cracks to prevent leakage or moisture intrusion

What You Need to Bring to the Mechanical Repair Technician Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
