Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Inventory Clerk – Material Handler for an industrial/construction project in Morris, MN. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate tracking of incoming materials, support organized jobsite operations, and help coordinate between fabrication and field teams. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.What You’ll Do as an Inventory Clerk – Material Handler:

• Review drawings and shipping lists to identify all materials received on site
• Label materials and track storage locations for accurate inventory control
• Maintain and update Excel logs for current inventory and new arrivals
• Inspect shipments and verify quantities against packing lists
• Report discrepancies or missing items promptly
• Coordinate with field crews to plan staging areas
• Operate a forklift to move pallets and materials safely

What You Need to Bring to the Inventory Clerk – Material Handler Role:

• Current OSHA 10 Construction Certification-Or ability to take prior to joining
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience operating an industrial forklift
• Must understand/have experience moving large products
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Basic Excel/data entry skills for inventory tracking
• Ability to follow site safety protocols and attend coordination meetings
• Ability to work extended on-site hours and communicate across teams

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and verified work history, with potential eligibility for a percentage of full-scale compensation depending on background and testing results. This position offers a per diem of $104.00 per day for qualifying candidates, with preference given to those located approximately 60–300 miles from the Morris, MN project site for daily subsistence. Candidates located farther away may require extended subsistence arrangements, which are less preferred.
