About this job
Job Description
Imagine a nursing career that truly respects your life outside of the clinic. At Lamoille Health Partners, we offer a set, predictable schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, giving you time to rest, recharge, and enjoy your family.
We have intentionally built a close-knit, supportive nursing staff that feels like family. Our integrative leadership team doesn't manage from afar; we are active listeners who work collaboratively with you to optimize clinic workflows and protect your well-being.
As a primary care nurse on our team, you will escape the chaos of hospital shift work to play a vital role in advancing the health and wellness of your local community. Here, you will build long-term relationships with your neighbors, helping them live healthier, happier lives through preventative, compassionate care.
Join a tight-knit team where you can practice meaningful nursing by day and be home for dinner every night.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Big Impact, Local Heart: We are dedicated to keeping our community healthy, and you’ll be the bridge between our providers and our patients.
- Collaborative Environment: You won’t just be following orders; you’ll be a vital member of a team of physicians, mid-level providers, and MAs, working together to deliver high-quality care.
- Diverse Challenges: From chronic disease management and pediatric immunizations to acute telephone triage and in-office procedures, no two days are exactly the same.
- Professional Growth: We value your clinical excellence. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives that push our standards of care even higher.
What You’ll Do
- Be the Clinical Backbone: Perform point-of-care testing, administer complex vaccine schedules, and assist with minor procedures.
- Empower Patients: You’ll provide the education patients need to manage their health—whether it's diabetes, asthma, or hypertension—turning clinical data into actionable lifestyle changes.
- Master Triage: You are the frontline. You’ll assess patient needs over the phone, prioritize care, and ensure everyone gets the right help at the right time.
- Ensure Efficiency: You’ll keep our clinic flowing smoothly, ensuring that every patient’s experience from check-in to discharge is seamless.
Who You Are
- A Skilled Caregiver: You have your RN license and a deep understanding of clinical procedures.
- A Strong Communicator: You can explain complex medical information in a way that is culturally sensitive and easy to understand.
- A Problem Solver: You stay calm under pressure and know how to prioritize in a busy medical environment.
- A Team Player: You value collaboration and are always looking for ways to improve patient outcomes and clinic quality metrics.
