Client Services & Office Coordinator (Part-Time)

Beautiful Narragansett, RI | 24 Hours Per Week | $21–$24 per Hour

Our client, an established, year-round CPA and tax firm in beautiful Narragansett, Rhode Island, is seeking a dependable and personable Client Services & Office Coordinator to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced office professional who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being an important part of a small, professional office.

Schedule

  • Approximately 24 hours per week
  • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility available)
  • During tax season (February 15 – April 15), occasional Saturday mornings may be required

What You'll Do

  • Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and help keep tax projects on schedule
  • Assist clients with secure online document portals
  • Scan, organize, and upload documents electronically
  • Manage filing systems and maintain accurate records
  • Make daily trips to the local post office
  • Schedule appointments and provide outstanding client service
  • Assist with administrative and office support duties as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Previous office administration experience (10+ years preferred)
  • Experience in a tax, accounting, or financial services office is a plus
  • Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent telephone, email, grammar, and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Dependable, professional, and client-focused
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

Bonus Skills (Helpful but Not Required)

  • ProSeries Tax Software
  • Constant Contact or similar email marketing programs
  • Experience working in small office computer networks

Physical Requirements

This position requires sitting, walking, bending, crouching, and occasionally lifting boxes weighing up to 25–35 pounds.
