The responsibilities of the Apartment Maintenance Technician include performing various maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvements, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary

Implement preventative maintenance measures

Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies

Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests

Complete inspections of apartments for move-ins/outs

Repair appliances as needed

Perform tasks associated with apartment turnover

Ensure work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

Communicate effectively with residents and team members

Qualifications

Proven experience as apartment maintenance technician

Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to handle physical workload

High school diploma or equivalent

Reliable and self-motivated
