Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate bulldozers and excavators on job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience safely operating heavy machinery and assisting with site preparation, grading, and material movement. This role requires attention to safety, the ability to follow project instructions, and the capability to work efficiently as part of a construction crew.
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers and excavators
- Perform grading, digging, and site preparation tasks
- Move materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris
- Follow safety procedures and job site regulations
- Conduct basic equipment checks and report maintenance issues
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects efficiently
- Previous experience operating bulldozers and excavators
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a construction environment
- Must be dependable and able to follow directions
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Construction or site work experience
- Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance

- Assist with water extraction, structural drying, and moisture readings
- Support mold remediation and fire/soot cleanup following safety and industry standards
- Perform contents packing, cleaning, and inventorying
- Document job progress using digital tools, including photos and equipment logs
- Work in tight spaces, at heights, and in full PPE when required
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment on job sites and in the warehouse
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces and other confined areas
- Must pass a background check, have a clean driving record, and pass a respirator fit test
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Reliable, professional, and customer‐focused
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in restoration, janitorial, or warehouse work
- Spanish language proficiency
- Familiarity with job management or digital documentation tools
