Job Description
Join a growing, physician-led outpatient neurology clinic in New Braunfels, TX. Our current Neurologist is booked through the end of the year & patient demand is strong, so the clinic is actively expanding services. We are seeking an experienced NP or PA to work collaboratively with our Neurologist to deliver comprehensive outpatient neurological care.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 (negotiable based on experience)
- Performance Bonus: Up to 40% of annual salary — based on patient volume, record keeping, and clinic performance

POSITION SUMMARY
The APP will manage follow-up patients, perform neurological assessments, coordinate diagnostic testing, provide patient education, and assist with chronic disease management — all under physician supervision within a collaborative, team-based model.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Care
- Conduct comprehensive neurological histories and examinations
- Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
- Prescribe medications and monitor therapeutic response
- Counsel patients on diagnoses, prognosis, and treatment options
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and ancillary services
Diagnostic Management
- Order and interpret MRI/CT imaging, EEG studies, EMG/NCS reports, laboratory testing, and neuropsychological evaluations
- Review outside records prior to physician consultation
- Prepare complex patients for physician review when appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- Current Texas NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration & BLS certification
Preferred:
- 3+ years of neurology experience (outpatient preferred) — will consider less based on specialty focus
- Managed Care and Value-Based Care experience
- Medicare Risk Adjustment experience (AI-assisted coding tools utilized)
- Familiarity with EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging
