Customer Service Representative Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with an established company seeking an experienced customer service professional to join its team. The Customer Service Representative will support clients and process orders for high-quality products and engineered solutions. The ideal Customer Service Representative is professional, organized, and able to multitask while providing exceptional customer service.  The Customer Service Representative is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Hicksville, NY.


Customer Service Representative Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide Customer Support by Responding to Customer Inquiries, Concerns & Requests with a Positive, Professional Attitude
  • Track Correspondence, Update Customer Records & Process Orders Using the Company’s ERP System
  • Investigate & Resolve Product or Service Issues, Ensuring Customer Satisfaction
  • Work Closely with Internal Teams to Meet Customer Needs & Support Daily Operations
  • Meet Performance Targets, Participate in Training & Provide Feedback on Recurring Issues or Trends


Customer Service Representative Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • At Least 2 years of Experience in a Fast-Paced Customer Service Environment
  • Experience with ERP Systems (Visual or Similar) is Preferred 
  • Must Have Strong Communication, Listening & Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to Multitask, Prioritize & Stay Organized
  • Have a Problem-Solving Mindset with a Calm, Professional Demeanor
  • Accurate Documentation & Data Entry Skills are a Must
  • Have the Ability to De-Escalate & Resolve Customer Concerns
  • Comfortable Working with Multiple Departments 
  • Must Be Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual Spanish is a Plus
