2ND SHIFT Maintenance Technician II

The 2ND SHIFT Maintenance Technician II will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing plant's operations by performing equipment maintenance and repairs during the second shift. This position focuses on ensuring machinery operates efficiently through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and precise machine calibration. The technician will work independently without supervisory duties and may be required to work occasional overtime to address urgent maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks proactively to avoid breakdowns
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues accurately
• Calibrate machinery to maintain optimal performance standards
• Maintain technical documentation related to maintenance and repairs
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures during all maintenance activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance roles
• Proficiency in mechanical repair, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with safety procedures relevant to manufacturing environments
• Ability to document technical processes clearly
• Effective communication skills
