After Training - 3rd Shift Schedule 7p - 7a (Rotating 4 Days/wk & 3 Days/wk & Every Other Weekend)

Chemical Control Systems Operator Job Summary:
Immediate opening for an experienced Chemical Control Systems Operator to join a dedicated team. The Chemical Control Systems Operator will monitor equipment, manage hazardous materials, and ensure the smooth operation of the production process. The ideal Chemical Systems Operator will have experience in the chemical manufacturing industry and be excited to learn and grow in the position. The Chemical Control Systems Operator is a full-time, direct-hire position in Kansas City, KS.
Chemical Control Systems Operator Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate & Oversee Reactors, Vacuum Systems, Pumps & Coolers to Maintain Proper Conditions, Including Pressure, Temperature & Flow & Respond to Production Process Changes
- Produce Products Safely & Efficiently by Following Established Procedures
- Calculate Batch Size & Record Accurate Data
- Load & Unload Trucks & Transport Materials to Designated Areas
- Make Sure Safety Systems & Valves Are Being Properly Operated & Perform Required Inspections
- Complete Necessary Forms For Production & Transfer Accurately
- May Also be Required to Handle &/or Inspect Hazardous Waste & Hazardous Waste Storage, Respond to Hazardous Waste Spills & Incidents Following The Site’s Emergency Action Plan & Manage Hazardous Waste Records
- Assist With Other Duties as Assigned
Chemical Control Systems Operator Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1+ Years of Relevant Experience &/or The Equivalent Combination of Education & Experience Required
- Must be Able to Read & Interpret Documents Including Procedure Manuals
- Must be Able to Follow Written, Oral or Video Instructions
- Must have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills & Common Sense in Standardized Situations
- Must be Proficient in Basic Math, Including Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication & Division
- Must be Proficient Using Computer Applications
- Must be Able to Stand, Walk, Sit, Reach, Balance, Crouch, Crawl & Kneel
- Must be Comfortable Working in an Outdoor, Loud Environment with Occasional Exposure to Fumes & Airborne Particles
- Current Forklift Certification is Preferred
- Must be Able to Lift Up to 75 Lbs.
