Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping operations and ensure exceptional cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing all housekeeping and laundry functions, maintaining brand standards, overseeing departmental budgets, and developing a high-performing team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all housekeeping and laundry operations.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop housekeeping team members and supervisors.
  • Schedule staff to meet operational demands while controlling labor costs.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of linens, cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and uniforms.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that support operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
  • Address guest concerns and service recovery situations professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company policies.
  • Prepare departmental budgets, forecasts, payroll reports, and productivity analyses.
  • Monitor housekeeping performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Previous experience supervising large teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Experience in a branded full-service hotel environment.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
