Job Title: Warehouse Receiver
Department: Managed Solutions
Reports To: Director- Operations
Seniority Level: Midlevel
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $13/hr- $15/hr
Location: Amelia, Louisiana
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist in unloading trucks and checking in parts
2. Log receipts using the computerized inventory program and reporting functions.
3. Maintain inventory control of all material received at the Amelia Warehouse.
4. Review all incoming manifests and shipping documents and check against cargo received.
5. Assist in preparing manifests for departing supply vessels and trucks. Review and sign off on all outgoing manifests and equipment departing.
6. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
7. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
8. Receives its within ALLSERV’s receiving procedures and shipping procedures
9. Performs 100% material receiving accuracy check
10. Identifies purchase order issues that include Overages, Shortages and Damages, OS&Ds, upon delivery and assists the buyer for corrective action and resolution
11. Opens and packs bales, crates, totes and other containers
12. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
14. Wear the proper safety equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. Required: HS Diploma or GED. Preferred degrees are in Supply Chain, Business Management, Accounting and Finance or other business disciplines.
2. Previous experience of 2 to 3 years working in a warehouse environment.
3. Computer literate and working knowledge of Windows based programs.
4. Advanced in using the following MS Office Products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
a. Creating Charts, reports, spreadsheets and templates.
5. This hands-on position requires a good working knowledge of all drilling equipment and major systems in use aboard drilling rigs.
6. Forklift certification per OSHA standards preferred

1. Activities are typically wide-ranging as a recognized expert and problem-solver. This applies to all areas of safety management. Demonstrates a detailed knowledge of the safety management systems and procedures within their department.
2. Ensures that personal behaviors/work practices are a role model to all and in line with RigServ safety standard.
3. Have thorough knowledge of site fire and emergency procedures.
4. Participate in all safety drills, meetings, fire and boat drills and safety training programs.
5. Contributes to and supports safety toolbox meetings etc.
6. Participates in multiple reviews of results from operating tests or changes in work procedures carefully to ensure there are no impacts to work area.
7. Leads and pays close attention to “housekeeping,” double- checks and takes additional safety precautions to ensure no-one is put at risk by own work and the work of others.
8. Takes no short cuts and encourages other team members to take due care and not put others at risk.
9. Participates in safety initiatives/committees where appropriate.
10. Advises other Departments and checks others’ working around them to ensure that safety procedures are well understood and followed.
11. Anticipates and seeks to resolve, or where necessary reports incidents of failure or risk.
12. Passes on information and feedback from accident/incident data and re-hab processes and takes action to improve safety conditions.
13. Evaluates others’ working around them to ensure that safety procedures are well understood and followed.
14. Participates in multiple investigations of injuries/incidents in their own and other departments.
Physical Requirements
1. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
2. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
3. Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling are required frequently. Requires lifting and substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
4. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
5. The worker is subject to environmental conditions. The worker is subject to extreme heat which may include temperatures above 100°ree; for periods of more than one hour.
6. Typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
