Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour (Dependent on experience) Per Diem: $75.00/day Schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off rotation Shifts: 12-hour shifts; rotating days and nights every hitch
About the Role
Wallstreet Sand Co. is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our frac sand operations team in Kermit, Texas. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position in a fast-paced industrial environment. We specifically encourage candidates with backgrounds in construction (concrete/heavy labor), agriculture, ranching, and farming to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Safely operate loaders, skid steers, off-road forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
Plant Support: Feed the dry plant, monitor material flow through dryers and conveyors, and support production.
Field Grit: Perform outdoor work in the Permian Basin desert involving heat, dust, wind, and noise.
Maintenance & Safety: Conduct daily equipment inspections, follow MSHA regulations, and assist with minor repairs.
Labor Tasks: Handle physically demanding tasks including climbing stairs, lifting, shoveling, and general housekeeping.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operation required.
Technical Skills: Experience operating loaders, skid steers, forklifts, or similar high-volume production equipment.
Availability: Ability to work a 14/7 rotating schedule including days and nights.
Environment: Comfortable working long hours in harsh weather and industrial conditions.
Reliability: Strong attendance, accountability, and a safety-first mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in frac sand plants, mining, aggregate, or the oilfield.
Current MSHA training or a willingness to obtain certification.
Mechanical aptitude to assist with basic equipment maintenance.
