Certified Rigger

Location: DMV Area
Pay Range: $28–$40/hr depending on certifications and experience
Duration: 3 months to long-term
Project Type: Structural Steel / Industrial Construction
Environment: Primarily outdoor construction sites

Talent Corps is seeking experienced Certified Riggers to support structural steel and heavy lifting operations on commercial and industrial construction projects. Candidates must have experience working around cranes, steel erection crews, and rigging operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform rigging and signaling operations for steel materials and equipment
• Assist with crane picks and heavy lifting coordination
• Inspect slings, chains, shackles, and rigging equipment before use
• Work closely with crane operators and field crews during lifts
• Assist with steel erection, decking, handrails, and material placement
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety procedures
• Support general steel construction activities as needed

Requirements:

• NCCCO Certified Rigger preferred
• Signal Person Certification preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• Experience on structural steel or industrial projects
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions
• Reliable transportation
