Key Responsibilities
- Order Preparation: Pull, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company standards and carrier regulations.
- Documentation: Generate shipping documents, bills of lading, and tracking information. Track packages to ensure on-time delivery.
- Receiving: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries for accuracy and document any damages or shortages.
- Inventory Management: Update inventory levels in the warehouse system, and organize stock areas for efficient retrieval.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with freight carriers, couriers, and internal customer service teams to schedule pickups and resolve delivery issues. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy packages, stand for long periods, and comfortably perform routine warehouse duties.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse/inventory management systems (like ERP software) and basic computer skills.
- Equipment Operation: Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
