Industrial Landscape Crew

(Westlake, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Landscape Laborer to support commercial and industrial landscaping operations. The ideal candidate will utilize landscaping experience, horticultural knowledge, and strong teamwork skills to maintain outdoor spaces while adhering to safety and quality standards. This position requires working in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding outdoor tasks.

Essential Duties:
• Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, planting, mulching, and general grounds maintenance.
• Utilize horticultural knowledge and industry best practices for planting, pruning, and landscape care.
• Operate landscape equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Dig, plant, mulch, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape materials.
• Assist with landscape installation and enhancement projects as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for equipment and tools.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements/Skills:
• Previous landscaping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of horticulture practices and standards for pruning, planting, digging, and mulching.
• Experience operating landscape equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools.
• Ability to work hard in various weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Ability to read and write.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
• Successfully undergo and pass DISA Drug Screening.
• Successfully undergo and pass DISA Background Check.
• Possess or be able to obtain a TWIC Card.
• Must adhere to close-shave compliance requirements.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull landscaping materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, dig, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate landscape tools and equipment.
• Must be able to wear required PPE and comply with all safety requirements.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
