Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Cashier to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the cafe, take their orders and payment. Your goal is to ensure a smooth and friendly ordering process. The ideal candidate is passionate about service and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30am to 3pm. Hourly wage plus tip share.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the cafe with a smile
- Take food and beverage orders
- Explain the menu items to customers
- Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
