Village Family Dental is seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time team member (29-31 hours/week) who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork and exceptional customer service.
Position Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify patient information and update records accurately
- Perform data entry and maintain electronic patient files
- Check patients in and out of appointments
- Process payments and assist with insurance information
- Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Support daily office operations
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficiency with computers and basic office software-Dentrix experience preferred
- Accurate data entry and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers
- Previous dental office experience is preferred but not required
