Unarmed Security Guard

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to any incidents or emergencies. As a Security Guard, you will play a critical part in maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, conflict management, and effective communication. Your presence will help foster a safe atmosphere where everyone can operate confidently and without concern.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances and exits to control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate action and communication
• Enforce security policies and procedures while managing conflicts with professionalism and calmness
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism attempts
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinate with emergency responders during incidents
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred
• Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or conflict management are advantageous
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV monitoring, and loss prevention techniques
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public
• Must possess a valid security license as required by local regulations
