Security Officer – $14.00/hr (32 Hours Weekly + Additional Shifts Available)

Location: Various sites
Schedule: Hours:

Wednesday/Thursday 16 hours per week (12 am-8 am)

Saturday-Monday 36 hours per week (8pm-8am)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team. This position includes both driving responsibilities and desk/monitoring duties depending on site needs. Officers must maintain a strong security presence, provide excellent customer service, and respond appropriately to incidents or concerns.

• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts at other sites when available

Key Responsibilities

Driving Responsibilities:

• Conduct mobile patrols of assigned properties using a company-approved or personal vehicle as required
• Monitor the perimeter, parking areas, and access points
• Respond to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activity in a timely and safe manner
• Complete patrol logs and provide documentation of all mobile rounds

Desk / Station Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible, professional presence at the front desk or security post
• Check in visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist building staff or residents
• Write incident reports and document all daily activity clearly and accurately

General Duties:

• Enforce property rules and regulations
• Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or maintenance needs
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding incidents or concerns
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security standards
• Follow all company protocols, policies, and posted instructions

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to perform walking and mobile patrols
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Previous security experience preferred but not required
