QC Inspector

Essential Responsibilities
· Accurate dimensions inspection of product using a wide variety of measuring devices
· Handle vendor incoming inspection
· Manages the NDT reports server
· Assure all First and Last Article inspection is conducted as required
· Manages and analyzes all customer returns
· Identifies non-conformances and generate QC reports
· Lead further activities when a non-conformance product/material is identified
· Educate/train other employees on specification requirements
· Complies with company safety regulations and standard procedures at all times

Qualifications
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
· Quality Control: Minimum 5 years of experience
· Experience in the PVF (pipe, valves and fittings) industry
· Speak and read English. Bilingual Spanish preferred
· Working knowledge of blueprint reading, shop math and non-destructive testing
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· Ability to understand and execute instructions well
· Positive attitude; works well under stress
· Hands-on, action oriented, and demonstrate a bias for continual improvement
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with careful attention to detail
· Capable of lifting 50 lbs with back support
· Ability to drive forklift and secure certification
