Customer Service Representative

A Customer Service Clerk serves as the communication link between customers, warehouse operations, drivers, and management. The role focuses on ensuring shipments are processed accurately, customer inquiries are resolved quickly, and records are maintained correctly.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm

Payrate: $21-24/hr

Main Responsibilities

Customer Support

• Answer customer phone calls and emails.
• Respond to questions about shipments, deliveries, inventory, and order status.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary.

Order Processing

• Enter customer orders into company systems.
• Verify shipment details, quantities, and delivery information.
• Track orders from receipt through delivery.
• Update customers on shipment progress and delays.

Documentation & Data Entry

• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Process shipping documents, invoices, and proof-of-delivery paperwork.
• Update databases and transportation management systems.
• File and organize logistics records.

Coordination with Operations

• Communicate with warehouse staff regarding order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with drivers and dispatch teams on delivery schedules.
• Monitor shipment status and report any service issues.
• Assist in scheduling pickups and deliveries.

Problem Resolution

• Investigate missing, delayed, or damaged shipments.
• Work with internal departments to find solutions.
• Follow up with customers until issues are resolved.
