About the Role:
Join the Middledorf Bus Company as a School Bus Driver in Clinton, MD, where you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our young passengers. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about driving and making a difference in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Transport students to and from school and related activities safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in excellent working condition.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment.
- Monitor student behavior and enforce safety rules during transit.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents to management immediately.
- Attend training sessions and safety meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B (CDL) with a school bus endorsement
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Experience driving School Buses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug testing.
- Commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate school hours.
- Patient and caring demeanor towards children.
