Job Description
MUST HAVE Customer Service Representative with Logistics, Distribution, or Manufacturing background. Must have Manhattan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to, the following:
- Allocate orders in WMS
- Generate UCC and Shipping Labels
- Submit and collect routing requests
- Create Bill of Ladings
- Invoice customers for value added services
- Keep our customers updated on the current status of their orders
- Assist the Customer Service Representative Manager(s), Captains and other members of the department as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in a 3PL environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of general warehouse practices
- Routing experience and vendor compliance for major retailers
- LTL vs. TL requirements
- Small parcel shipping including FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship
- Requirements for VICS bills of ladings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet and manage deadlines

Duties
- Greet customers at the front desk with a warm and professional attitude, managing multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive interactions
- Manage appointment scheduling, calendar management, and data entry using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, proofreading documents, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions
- Support office operations through clerical duties including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software when needed
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette while supporting customers via phone, email, or in person
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or administrative support roles with strong organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and basic data entry techniques
- Prior experience in customer service or support roles demonstrating effective communication skills
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong typing skills along with attention to detail for proofreading and data accuracy
- Experience as a dental or medical receptionist or personal assistant is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of clerical procedures such as filing, calendar management, and office organization
