CNC Programmer

The CNC Programmer plays a crucial role in manufacturing by creating and optimizing G-code programs for CNC machines. This position involves setting up machines for production, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that toolpaths are efficient and accurate. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain detailed documentation. 1st Shift. 4-10's.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize G-code programs for CNC machining
• Set up CNC machines according to job specifications
• Optimize toolpaths for maximum efficiency and quality
• Use CAD/CAM software to design and simulate machining processes
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of programs and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in CNC programming
• Proficiency in G-Code and CAM software such as Mastercam
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience with quality inspection processes
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
